The NSF Center for Biophotonics Science and Technology (CBST) is pleased to announce a lecture series for graduate students focused on research and development of novel light and optical technologies, as applied to the life sciences and medicine. Lectures will be given by Dr. Dennis Matthews, as well as other leading researchers at the Center’s participating institutions. The course will be broadcast on televideo to allow faculty and students at other campuses to participate. Course grades will be based on term papers submitted by the students, summarizing what they have learned and proposing ideas for extending biophotonics research.
